The Graduate School of Nanoscience and Technology at KAIST invites applications for full-time,
tenure-track or tenured faculty positions.
The Graduate School of Nanoscience and Technology is the newest established department in the College of Natural Sciences at KAIST, specializing in the interdisciplinary research in the area where physics, chemistry, biology, materials science, and engineering come together. We currently have 9 full-time faculty, and with recent awarding of the BK21 grant in 2013, are looking to expand, with particular emphasis on chemistry/chemical engineering-related nanoscience and technology. However, qualified applications will be given equal consideration regardless of the proposed field of research.
Applicants must have a Ph.D., and some post-doctoral research experience is desirable. However, candidates from all fields, nationality, and ethnicity will be considered equally, and are encouraged to apply. The position is for a junior level professor, but senior level appointments are possible depending on qualifications.
